Finally got a Baratza Maestro Plus grinder My wife got it for me for my birthday and gave it to me today, a week early. She felt so sorry for me with my old blade grinder that was falling apart, she could not wait to give it to me. Making my first cup now

Loving it. The grinder is very consistent. Coffee has not tasted better in my house. Now to get a new maker. I'm very glad I waited on a new grinder till I got the Baratza!

Hi Stryker777,

You should get this grinder. Mahlkonig Vario. Very good. If you are interested can contact me at 8121 5558. I can show it to you.

Cheers
Jay

Already got a grinder Jay (2 posts above yours). Plus, for over $1000 I could hire gnomes to come to my house and cut the beans to the appropriate size. Thanks
Brian

I own a Malkohnig K30, which is dedicated to espresso. This particular grinder is overkill for most people, especially if you're not doing espresso. If you're ever in my neck of the woods, shoot me a PM and I'll make you an espresso, cap, latte, frech press, vac pot, moka pot, or just about any other form of coffee you'd like. I still don't know how to make Turkish coffee though.

The Mahlkonig Vario is same as Baratza Vario.... a home grinder that retails around $450. Not to be confused with the K30 or others in the Mahlkonig lineup as there is a Vario version.
