Default Malkhonig K30 grinder died

My Malkhonig K30 grinder died on Sunday. The worst part is that my version of this grinder is a first production run, so the circuit boards for this grinder are no longer made. An engineer friend of mine is going to diagnose the board and see if he can save it. Let's keep our fingers crossed, because I really don't want to have to buy another espresso grinder.

That's terrible. Have you tried to find another one on ebey or Craigslist so you can just swap out the boards?

Great news on the grinder front. I touched base with Gary Horne, who is the VP at Mahlkonig USA. He asked me to ship him the grinder and he would get it all fixed up for me. How is that for customer service!!??? He's also going to put in the new anti-clumping grind mechanism for free. That's a $350 upgrade on the house. I am always dedicated to a company that gives me great customer service. So two thumbs up to Mahlkonig!

I know this is an old thread but that is so good to know in case I run into problems in the future.
