Default Coffee Related Foods

My sister is going to start living at my house when she's away from school.

Like me she loves coffee so I'm looking for any recipes I can out together for her when she comes down.

I would prefer they involve coffee, but it could be something you like with coffee.

I know it's probably my heritage, but I love Mexican pastries with coffee. It's also a Christmas tradition for my brothers and my dad to have tamales with coffee on Christmas day. Just some weird little tradition that we started years back.

We eat tamales, but not early in the day.

I like the Mexican pastries as well. We have a local bakery that does a lot of good ones.

Pumpkin empanadas from that place put all others to shame.

I'm on the paleo-eating plan now, so I'm limited to basically black coffee. As for recipes and meals, I can send you to some good websites, but you'll be starting from scratch on most of the ingredients.

Holy Crap! Look what the cat dragged in! How have you been BRad? I'd like to see some of those meals you eat and really wonder if it helps or not!

Well she's coming down tonight. Supposed to leave with her tomorrow to see my ailing Grandmother.

So far I'm going to do some fresh bread and probably hit up the Mexican pastry bakery before she wakes up.

Sp far we've only done pastries.

She's driving down four hours to hang out, catch up on some rest and eat pastries while we drink a lot of coffee.

She's like me in that regard. For a skinny girl she can out away cup after cup.

Poppy seed cake. If it's good it will have some morphine in it.
