I eat Shipley's because it's close, but otherwise whatever. Round Rock donuts is great, but I am a good way from them.

I have to drive up there fairly frequently in the next 2 weeks. Maaaayyyyybe I can bring some RR donuts back with me.
I personally prefer simple cake donuts with my coffee.

In the past I couldn't tolerate drinking coffee with anything sweet simply because most coffee is so horribly prepared at most places sugar just brings out the bitterness/harshness.
Now that I'm in control of my coffee from start to finish I find that the true indicator of how great coffee can be is being able to eat a donut, muffin, etc. and it actually compliment the coffee instead of ruining it. If you can take a bite of something really sweet followed by a sip of black coffee and it goes down smoothly, IMO you know you're doing something right.

We have "Donut Man" down the street from us, which has made the US finals for being the best donuts on many TV shows. It is such a hole in the wall, but the donuts are outstanding!

I actually like their fresh peach donuts. Not as sweet on the taste buds.

I totally agree, but every once in a while, why not? We all have to go sometime!
