Default Should I give up?

There's a coffee shop by my office, I frequent it every other day or so.

There are a couple of baristas that consistently mess up my order, I tell them what I want how I want it, and yet they still mess it up.

It's not a big deal, they fix it, but how many times do you go to a place before it's no longer worth the trouble?

I'd take it up with the manager, unless he's screwing it up too. I'll give you two tries. You screw it up once, okay. You screw it up twice, we're done.

Next time try asking if they want you to go behind the counter and show them how it's done. Tell them your typical consultation fee is $75 per hr. but you will let it slide this time.

Reduce their tip to only $5.00....that will make them get it right!

I have and he's said he will train everyone, never saw him again.

I want to. I think asking would sound condescending.

I did give up, I order 3 shots of espresso and that's it. If they ever mess that up I'm done altogether.

Yeah, man. Just take it as the "surprise of the day". If you don't, you'll go crazy and they'll just think you're a jerk.I live in China and that's the way everything here is.

I got fluffy pork on my sandwich instead of tuna the other day. Oh, well. Maybe they know me better than I know myself.

What, the bit about the fluffy pork or knowing you better than yourself?
