Default You're lost in the Jungle

So there you are lost in the jungle. Your guide said not to go off the path, but you did, you have a sense of adventure.

Now you are being surrounded by monkeys and have to fight your way out.

How many monkeys can you take before the make nanners out of you?

I'm saying 6 unless the know capoeira, then we are all in trouble.

In the event that anyone is as dumb as me, I've already done the research for you!

Capoeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [kapuˈejɾɐ]) is a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, sports, and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences, probably beginning in the 16th century. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power kicks and quick leg sweeps, with some ground and aerial acrobatics, knee strikes, take-downs, elbow strikes, punches and headbutts.

The word capoeira comes from Tupi, referring to the areas of low vegetation in the Brazilian interior.

I'm sorry, I thought Brazilian dance fighting was well known.

Them monkeys are as mean as I am before my first cup of coffee. Because of this, one nice size monkey would probably take me out!

What kind of monkeys are we talking about, and am I reasonably armed for the jungle? I'm assuming no firearms, since that makes this mostly a nondiscussion. Still, if we're talking spider monkeys or similar childsize simians and I have a machete, I think I can make the victory pretty costly for them. On the other hand, if we're talking chimpanzees, they'll be shrieking over who gets to play with my entrails first before I can drop one. Chimps are nasty.

Pretty sure I could take my weight in lemurs. We get much bigger, and the number drops precipitously.

I don't know if lemurs count, but OK. I think I could infinetely takre lemuyrs.

Chimps on the other hand, eight, and the only reason I can get through the first four is the second four think it's funny to watch me struggle then are all "Oh no, he beat up four of us!".

I like you Austin, but barring a force multiplier I doubt you'd get that far. As I said, chimps are seriously nasty. Everyone's like "d'aww, they're so cute" and then they go "ohgod it's eating my face and beating me to death with my own arm how is this happening."
