Default DIY Roasting Machines

Has anyone here built a DIY home roasting machine?

I haven't but it is on my to-do list. Here is the instructions I am planning on following when I get around to it. Not my design, just one I like:

Homemade Coffee Bean Roaster

That is a PDF file. Ultimately I'd like to build a simple tumble-roaster so I can use my grill to get the job done. I think it'd actually be far simpler than the one above, again, just haven't gotten around to it. LOL

Thanks for posting the PDF!

I've been scouring the second hand market for the right roaster, but I may end up going DIY.

I have converted a popcorn popper Hamilton Beach poppery I. You can sometimes find them in thrift shops. The only modification I have made so far was to put a soup can on it which allows you to roast more beans. It works great.

I will have to take a picture of it but here is an artist rendition of it from my wife.
