Default Whats Your Morning Coffee

Let's hear what coffee's you enjoy after a good nights sleep.

For me, the first cup sets my mood, so choice is key. There's nothing better than a Hawaiian Hazelnut aroma emanating from the kitchen.

Americano: double shot of espresso + 5oz of hot water. The deliciousness of an espresso, with the benefit of a longer drink I can sip and enjoy while working.

As for beans, it's whatever the wife made that week - she's the master roaster of the house I'm really a big fan of the Ethiopian beans. They have a very characteristic flavor that I've come to like.

I usually grind and brew my morning coffee with my own little recipe(found here-http://www.coffeeforum.com/forum/f23/my-own-little-recipe-98/) but when I dont have much time I use a kureg with one of the extra bold k-cups.

I'm a lover of Starbucks House blend.
Grind the beans and stuff a personal K-cup full to the top then brew it in my Keurig.
Some milk and sweet-n-low and I'm all set for the first hour or so.

As for flavored coffees, BLEAH! No thanks.

Funny I do the same thing. Although I use four shots and nurse it.

Sounds like something I should try! Though mayhap I'll put two shots. (or 4 like the above poster!)

As an aside, I'm starting to think that I need to learn more about espresso, as that may be exactly what I am craving.

Medium roast beans and a spoonful or two of turbinado sugar. If I could afford an expensive coffee habit it would be Jamacain Blue Mountain beans every day... sigh...

Americano on mornings off.
Drip on workdays.

today is a day off AND a Brewday... so it is 2 shots decaf espresso followed by a never ending pot of Sumatra until after the boil.
