Well, I'm able to search the web just fine myself, but admittedly i did not. I was really looking for anyone's personal experience here in Richmond, but that second link is literally a couple blocks from me right now. So it seems I'll have to go check it out and post my own personal experience.

Sorry , I wasn't able to give you a personal experience, but one of the reviews I read was quite impressive and just thought you would like to see it. Here's the "Review" , copied and pasted, for others to see::
Rostov's Coffee & Tea - Richmond, VA
Richmond, VA 11/11/2009
We've been going to Rostov's for our beans and teas since 2000, when it was Carytown Coffee and Tea. Jay Rostov taught us what proper roasting and great raw materials could produce, and his daughter, Tammy, has not only carried on the business, but taken it to a new level. She sends her roaster and employees to where the beans are grown to learn about the process of producing, as well as roasting the beans. I've never had a badly roasted bean from Rostov's, and have learned an incredible amount about coffee from the folks there. They're also good corporate citizens, and have always supported local non-profits and the art scene in town. We took some beans from Rostov's with us when we visited friends in Rome, and even our Italian friends, who argue over whether St' Eustachio vs. Tazza d'Oro is the King of Coffee, were impressed by our beans from Richmond.
