Talking Texspresso

2700 W. Anderson Lane,
Austin, Texas

It's a decent hole-in-the-wall, with access to a central enclosed yard-area, that keeps most of the traffic noise at bay.

Only been there a few times. Met my brother there, before he moved to either Cali. or Hawaii (He came back to Austin before going to Hawaii).

Only beef is the LACK of baked cheesecake... The instant stuff is all they use, but in a wide variety... I forget what else they have.

I'll have to check it out. I'm that direction pretty often. My in-laws live only a few blocks from there.

If you're off Mopac and Enfield, Cafe Medici is located off West Lynn. That is one of the best in Austin. A couple of their barristas have even placed in competition.

Anderson's Coffee Co Inc
www.andersonscoffee.com

Whenever I'm in Austin, I go here to buy coffee and mugs.

And for the best brewed coffee/espresso/cappy...

TEO - Espresso, Gelato and Bella Vita

Fine gelato as well.

Dallas has a hard time competing.

Rent on Anderson was going up, new location, just blocks from the owners' home came available... He's happier, but folks in North Austin aren't... LOL

I can't imagine what rent on Anderson is. We will have to give them a shot. I usually stop at Starbucks on the way to Austin as it's the only coffee.

Between where you are and Austin I'm afraid you're right.
