Panera Bread is one of my favorite "quick" food stops, but they are a bit pricey. Their coffee is usually decent - I get either a chai or a mocha most times. Their sandwiches, and their soups, are usually excellent. I'm looking forward to cool weather again so I can get a bread bowl of broccoli cheddar.

My daughter is coming home for the weekend this Friday, and she made me promise her that I'd take her there. She is a vegetarian and loves it as well.

Total for both of us was $22.00, which is quite expensive for two persons. The sand could be due to them being busy since the business was new, so I won't dog for that. I give them a "two thumbs up" but a "one thumb down" for their sand and costs. I will return when it gets quieter there.
that is yucky. twice before today i've gotten sandy spinach from HEB brand bagged and once from that 'garden express' that is supposedly triple washed.
that just ruins the whole sandwich, did she ask for a new one?

They were too busy to even find someone to help us, so no, we didn't.

Sand ruins everything, but in a raw state it's to be expected.

If they triple wash it there is no excuse, but even if I buy pre-washed, I wash it again anyways, who knows what sort of standards they are using to determine "washed" lettuce or spinach.

Mmm I love Panera, but sandy lettuce... Not so much. That Artichoke and Chicken sandwich sounds delicious though.
