Default Beans

I'm big in to the Ruta Maya medium roast. I use a fine grind for the espresso and a relatively coarse grind for drip.
I have a guilty pleasure when it comes to coffee. I really like Cafe' Bustelo. It's cheap. It's gross through a drip pot but for some reason it makes awesome Americanos.

I get alot of my beans @ Sams Club. They carry a "local" company's beans. Their prices are reasonable .

Here in NJ my Sams uses Bucks County Coffee Co. Last few months I got some seasonals.
Pumpkin Spice beans
and
Mistletoe Blend beans
Both were at close out pricing Both were very good. I also use Gevalia

I order all my beans from Sweet Maria's. They have an excellent selection of beans and equipment and their delivery and service is spot on. I've seen better prices but never better overall service. They review the beans and provide roasting level advice on the beans they sell.

I received one of there thermos style ones and used it for a month. I liked it but I prefer to brew as needed. I gave it to my father and now it's all he uses.

I love coffee beans from Costa Rica.

Costa Rica Coffees - Gourmet Coffee - Café Britt Gourmet Coffee

I buy on line in assortments and get the freight paid. Usually arrives in about 5 days. BEST beans I have ever tasted !

Starbuck's buys millions of dollars worth of Costa Rican coffee every year to make up their own blends....but I don't like their end product.

I'm really liking the Colombian from Sweet Maria's. I am working on 5# of it now, I roast it very light for a nice citrus flavor and aroma.

My all time favorite at the moment is a Guatemalan from a local roaster up in Georgetown TX which is off the hook good, $9 a pound for green beans but it's heaven at City+. It was nice to go sample a bunch of their coffee right in the store and chat with the barista who was very knowledgeable.

My third favorite is the Allegro Mocha Java from the flagship Whole Foods in downtown Austin. They roast it FC in the store with an air roaster. I bought some green beans from them one time and roasted them to City+ in my Behmor to see how it compared to their roast. At $10 a pound green or $12 roasted it's the most pricey but it's a very solid bean.
