Default Flavor Differences

When you think decaf, what differences come to mind. I've heard "This doesn't taste like decaf" but when I ask what that means I usually get blank stares.

So what do you feel the difference to be?

that means the taste is like a regular coffee. it was an advertisment slogan for "Kaffee HAG", decaffeinated with CO2.

you have to taste the regular coffee an the same provenience as a decaf coffee. than nobody will say "It doesn't taste like decaf"!!!!

the coffee becomes a little milder. the acid decreases and a robusta coffee from Vietnam becomes the name "Type Colombia" ; robusta losses the musty taste.
