I finally received my bottomless portafilter yesterday. I had a bottomless with my previous machine, so I'm familiar with what they do. I love the bottomless portafilter! I honestly can't see why I would need a spouted portafilter. I never split a shot in two, so no reason for a double spout.
So far no issues with spritzing. I have my grinder tuned in, so that's probably a big factor. I have to go up just a bit for oily beans. My tamp is usually good. I did have a bit of uneveness with this mornings coffee. I could taste it in the cup too. It wasn't horrible, but it was noticeable.
