Chai Latte
I love coffee, but I have to divert my attention every now and then to a chai tea latte. Still has caffiene, but not as potent as coffee. Tried it?

Every brand I've sampled is good, but I wouldn't give up 'spro for it. We use the Big Train version, dilute with a bit of hot water and finish with textured milk. Customers that don't love coffee find chai to be a great alternative. We offer it hot, iced or blended.

I'm a big fan of chai, but more and more I'm finding I prefer it black to latte.

Like I stated earlier, chai is OK for my taste and I've found a pretty good way to incorporate it with espresso. Ever hear of a Chai Charger, Dirty Chai, etc? It's nothing more than chai latte with espresso added. Well my concoction is a Chai-cchiato... consists of a double shot of 'spro, 1/3 scoop of Big Train chai powder and mixed with a few oz. of heavily textured milk. We choose to use Big Train in a commercial setting because it can be made to any ratio desired, is shelf stable and has excellent flavor when compared to all others, especially the liquids.

Of course not, but it is a good alternative. I someitmes order a Dirty Chai. They add a shot of espresso. It's good.

I get nauseous if I drink it black. I wonder why? I like the taste, I find it upsets my stomach though.

Dirty Chai? I've never heard of that Austin. I'm going to have to give it a try.

I like it. It's also known as a Chai Charger.

I'm a big fan of Chai Latte and it is my number one alternative. Although I didn't know of the other names (Dirty Chai and Chai Charger, thanks for the tip
As much as I hate to admit, Starbucks has probably the best I've ever had, as long as it is no-water Chai (only steamed milk). This makes for a smooth, rich taste that does it for me every time. In fact, I've recreated it using the same Tazo tea and whole milk at home. Tastes just as good as the $5 cup !

They don't make their own Chai do they?
I actually asked my wife to pick some up. I like it when the cold starts setting in.
