Question Getting a Breville machine to the UK, anyone?!

We'd like to buy one of the Breville machines, but they're not available in the UK .
Does anyone have any advice on how we can have one imported/sent to us? Any dealers that would agree?
Thanks.

I'm sure most stores will ship.

Have you run into issues trying to get them imported?

As it turns out, most stores we've e-mailed refuse international shipping .

It seems to me that if they receive payment, they would ship to Timbucktwo if necessary!

So far, the only dealer who's agreed to ship is AppliancesDirect. However, the shipping charge is $500AUD

This brings the Breville to the same price point as some of the better dual-boilers from Italy, like the Izzo Alex Duetto and the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II. Now, the latter two, don't have the modern looks of the Breville Dual, but they pretty much do the same things.... And if we did import the Breville (if it arrives safe and sound), we won't have any warranty whatsoever.

Do you think it's worth the effort and money investing in the Breville in this case?! I know they have a strong 'toaster' reputation rather than high-end espresso, but the Dual Boiler model seems like a well-built piece of kit that allows a lot of fine-tuning to produce a superb shot....

Advice would be very much appreciated!

Well, the 'instant cappuccino' machine is in a totally different class from what we're looking for...

We're upgrading from a Gaggia, so looking for a 'prosumer' machine really. Dual boiler, accurate PID and programmable pre-infusion.

Gotcha, sorry about that, you just said Breville so I didn't have much to go on.

Thanks for your help!
We've actually decided against the Breville and purchased the BrewtusIV locally.
