Check out Youtube for some great art videos. The pour is important, but foaming the milk properly is even more important. You want to make sure you don't stretch the milk too far, and incorporate those bubbles well into the rest of the milk for a nice, silky foam.

What kind of machine are you using?

I actually prefer my coffee black as well. The wife likes her lattes, though, and I find it a fun challenge to draw with the milk when I make her beverages.

Sanka straight from the pack...easy for when you on the go... just keep some packets in your pocket...when you want coffee...BOOM...there it is...Think of it as Coffee Pop Rocks...
