Default Pimp my espresso machine

I purchased a Quickmill Vetrano a few years ago. It's beautiful as it is, but I decided to snazz it up with a little exotic wood. I made some handles from bocote and a tamper from mesquite. One of these days I'll finish the top knobs.

Nice upgrades....Doesn't that machine start out at around $1600.00?

That is very elegant! if only I had some woodworking tools! I would love to make a few bits out of a bit of burl, I am attempting to make a mash paddle for brewing out of a nice piece of AA+ curly maple that I picked up, probably going to turn out looking like junk but it will have amazing figure to it!

Kau: Thank you! I went to Chris' Coffee in upstate NY and looked around at all the machines they had on the floor. The Vetrano seemed to have the best features in its price range - plumb-in water supply, no-burn steam wands, big boiler, heat exchanger.

Dunerunner: Yes. I bought a combo deal with the Macap M4. Ended around $2k with tax. But I use both every single day, sometimes 2 or 3 times, so it was worth the investment to me.

azs: I really dig curly maple. I made a handle for one of my tools from a piece that really just is spectacular to look at. Good luck with yours!

Beautiful woodwork! I have always loved nicely done wood, it pains me when I see so many wood pieces painted over.

Those additions make the machine look really sharp, good contrast to the stainless. Post another pic when you do the knobs please!
